Gluten and Lactose Free Chocolate Cake

Difficulty: Easy but time consuming 4/10
This is a once in a while Cake.

Background:

So this is the first gluten free cake i ever tried to make. Thinking that chocolate may be the way to a girls heart. When i found this recipe i thought that it was far to low on flour, so i tripled the quantity, but in retrospect i think that the original recipe i found was correct so here it is.

Ingredients:

Cake
200g plain lactose free chocolate
75ml lactose free milk
175g Soya flower
175g golden caster sugar
175g ground hazelnuts
50g gluten free flower
1 tsp Xanthum gum
5 eggs (separated)

Icing
100g lactose free chocolate
15g Soya Butter
20ml Lactose free milk
25g Chopped toasted hazelnuts

Instructions
  1. Grease and line a 23cm cake tin.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180'C/350'F/Gas Mark 4.
  3. Melt the chocolate with the milk in a microwave.
  4. Add the butter, sugar, ground hazelnuts, flower and egg yolks until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl whisk the whites of the eggs until peaking.
  6. Combine mixtures, and pour into baking tin.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes. Leave to cool in tin for ten minutes in tin before putting on cooling rack.
  8. Pore into the baking
  9. To decorate the cake melt the butter, chocolate, and milk in a microwave and spread out over the cake.
  10. Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts on top of the cake.
